Some forgotten stuff, and my last recycled boxes.

Hi sweet friends/ Hej venner,
I know, I have been lying really low here the last weeks, so low, that I even forgot to share some small baskests we were making here last month, when I had the girls here, and we should make stuff for my daughters birthday, so thought I better get to show them and her card before I forgot about it again LOL.
I´m also sharing my latest project, that I started on last week. Once a week we have an evening with online scrapclub on the Danish forum Scrapsisters, which me and another girl leads every second week. And last week I started to make some small boxes out of empty toiletrolls and decorated for all the girls, that is getting confirmated this spring. But first I´ll share the small baskets and the card I made for my daughters birthday, so here they comes first:

Jeg ved godt, jeg har lagt temmelig lavt her de seneste uger, så lavt at jeg endda fuldstændig har glemt at vise nogle små kurve, som vi lavede her sidste måned, da pigerne var her, så vi kunne lave gaver og kort til min datters fødselsdag, så jeg tænkte, jeg hellere måtte få dem vist, før de gik totalt i glemmebogen.
Jeg vil også vise jer nogle små genbrugsæsker, som jeg begyndte på i sidste uge, da vi havde scrapaften på det danske forum Scrapsisters, som jeg og en anden pige kører på skift hveranden uge. Og i sidste uge begyndte jeg på at lave disse små æsker ud af tomme toiletruller og dekorerede til alle de piger, som skal konfirmeres her i foråret. Men først vil jeg vise jer de små kurve og kortet vi lavede til min datter, så de kommer her først:

 These are the 2 baskets, that we made for my daughter. One from each of her girls. They´re so easy to make, just a 12 x 12 sheet, that has cut 2 slits in each side and folded and added a handle, and then decorated as they wished. This is deffinitely some even small kids can help making too, so a good one to let them make something really nice to stiffen their confidence in crafting.

Her er de 2 kurve, som vi lavede til min datter, en fra hver af pigerne. De er bare så nemme at lave, at selv ret små børn kan være med. Det er bare et 12 x 12 ark, som er skåret 2 slidser i hver side og så foldet og tilføjet en hank, og derefter dekoreret som de syntes. Det her er helt sikkert nogle som er så nemme at selv meget små børn kan være med, og det er en herlig måde at stive deres selvtillid med at de kan lave noget sååå flot selv og gi dem lyst til at lave mere.

 And this is the card I made, just a simple plain 3D card, that the girls got to chose too, so nothing fancy in that one, I´m afraid.
Og her er så kortet, som vi lavede. Det er bare et ganske simpelt 3D kort, som pigerne fik lov til at vælge, så ikke noget som helst fancy i det, er jeg bange for, men ret simpelt.

 And then here´s a bag I made for christmas too, I had forgot about too. It´s made with use of a lot of different dies, and here´s the one side of it.
Og her er en gavepose, som jeg lavede til jul også og havde glemt alt om. Den er lavet med brg af en masse forskellige dies, og det her er den ene side af den.

 And here´s the small giftboxes that I started on last week. They´re made out of empty toiletrolls, that I´ve cut up in one side and sat some ends on.

She showed how she´s cut it open, and then showwed pics of the one she made, so I just tryed to make it as I thought with what I had here, and this is how mine turned out, and I can tell that everything I´ve used on these are recycled stuff. All from the paperpieces from the scrapbox to the ribbon and lace.

Her er så de små gaveæsker, som jeg startede på sidste uge. De er lavet ud af tomme toiletruller, som er blevet skåret op og bare sat ender på.

Hun viste bare hvordan hun havde skåret den op og så nogle billeder af sin, så jeg har bare lavet den, som jeg syntes med hvad jeg nu lige havde for hånden, og det er så sådan her de endete med at se ud. Jeg kan fortælle, at simpelthen ALT på de her æsker er genbrugsmaterialer, lige fra de små papirstykker fra scrapkassen til blonden.

 The floer is from the recent candy I won, but the rest is leftover pieces I had laying around.
Blomsten er fra den candy jeg vandt for nylig, men ellers er resten bare overskud fra andre ting, jeg hade liggende.

 The lace is some pieces pieled of an old skirt / Blonden er nogle stykker, som er pillet af et gammelt underskørt

 These beadribbon is also just some pieces I had got from others and got for other things.
bette perlebånd er nogle stykker, jeg har fået rundt omkring og bare havde liggende.

 Even this "ribbon" here is a string, that´s been cut of an old flycover from a pram, that was ripped, and we would save the pieces, that wasn´t ripped aparrt , but cut the seamens of, and it´s those, I´ve cut into small pieces and used here.
Sel dette "blonde" her er en strimmel, der er blevet klippet af et fluenet fra en barnevogn, som var blevet revet i stykker, men vi ville gemme de stykker der ikke vat ødelagt, og klippede så alle sømmene af, og det er så de strimler, der er blevet klippet i små stykker og brugt her.

 Some of this tull here is also from that fly net, that´s cut in strips for this use.
Også tyllen her er noget af det gamle fluenet, som er klippet i strimler og brugt her.

 Inside it´s been painted white and just schrunched a piece of silky paper to put the gift or money in.
Indeni er de blevet malet med hvid maling og så er et stykke silkepapir krøllet sammen til at lægge en gave eller penge i indeni.

Well that´s all I had for you today dear friends, but I hope you liked my little giftboxes and baskets and will give them a try too. They´re very inexpensive and can be made for almost nothing and yet it´s a really nice and sweet little giftbox for a dear friend.

Well det er alt jeg har til jer i dag kære venner, jeg håber, I kú lí mine små kurve og gaveæsker og måske endda selv har lyst til at prøve dem. De er super billige og kan laves for stort sagt ingenting, og er alligevel rigtig søde til små gaver til en kær ven.

Today I´ve finished some boxes.

Hello there sweet friends,
First I want to thank you all for all the sweet and wonderful comments and emails I´ve recieved here after my eyesurgery. Thanks god it´s going really well, even I ofcause still have to take some precautions all the time and not overdo anything, even that is really hard, cause there´s sooo much I want to do now, that I can finally see everything clearly again, but better behave and do as I´m told he he.
But I´ve had a lot of fun creating some awesome boxes here the last couple of days. The first one I began to make a very very loooooooong time ago. It´s an origamibox, that I found on a You Tube video back then, (sorry I don´t remember where anymore) but never finished it, because these eyes played me big time, but now I finished it and got it glued up and made a bottom and a lid for it and decorated it as you can see here. It was originally thought as a template, so I could remember the foldings, but I´m sure I can find a tut somewhere again, if I can´t remember it next time LOL.

 This next one here is one I saw on Wenche Wold´s blog here:  http://wenchespapirverden.blogspot.dk/2013/05/tutorial.html  a long time ago, and have wanted to try for a very long time too, as I thought they were sooooo gorgeous. The first one here is made exactly after her directions and just adjusted a bit in size, because my punches didn´t fit exactly as the ones she had used, and then I ofcause decorated them after my liking and what I had laying around, cause it´s all just left overs I´ve used for all of these boxes.

 The flowers on here are recycled flowers, that comes from some of these candlewreaths we used here a few yars ago, that I have pulled apart and just reused the flowers, and the bows are made from all the ribbons, that also was on these wreaths too.

 The metalcorners here on this one is some flat corners, I´ve got somewhere at some time, that I had hubby to bend, so they could fit around these corners.

 And this big crystalbutton, that is on this side of the handle, is actually one I found on the floor in the supermarket once, so I guess it´s one someone have lost from a boot or a shoe or something, but I thought it looked pretty nice and bend down and picked it up, otherwise it had just been thrown out, when they cleaned the floor LOL. And the small metal fan on the side here is one that had fell of some embellisment somewhere at some time and was in my mess up box ha ha.

 And that´s also the same for the dragonfly here on the handle, it´s also something fallen of somewhere and just saved in my mess up box.
All the papers for both these last two boxes here are all from Pion Design. They just have the most awesome paper, that I just totally love both their patterns and their colors are stunning always.

 This one I changed a bit and made with a lid like the first one and just sat the handle on the lid instead of the box, just to make it a bit different.

 And again I´ve used lots of recycled items to decorate it.  On the lid I found an old broche, that my daughter made in a club, when she was young and didn´t want to save. It was just made of some wire thread and some beads, and it fit perfect in the red pearls, so I thought it looked nice on this one.

 Here´s a closer look at it.

 And again the ribbon I used on the edges are from some old curtains and the bee is an old cellphone decoration, that was broken, that I removed all the wires and used the bees on the sides here.

 And these are some very very old gold painted plastic broches too, that I got in a box filled with all kinds of old crab from my dad once a couple of years ago, but again, there was just 2 of them and they fit perfect here.

 And the bee on the other side a bit closer up.

And here I´ve also used paper from Pion Design and all the cardstock I´ve used here todayare all Bazzil.

I hope, you´ll like, what I´ve done here and will give it a try too sometime.

Unfortunately I couldn´t just find Wenche´s blog right now, but I´ll add a link to her tutorial later, when I find it, so she can get the credit, she deserve for her part of this.

I have actually also been working a bit here the last days.

I´m sooo pleased to say, that my eye is doing really fine, and now I´m finally finished dripping it too, and can begin to get back to normal days here again. So I´ve been finishing a couple old things, I had laying around here, but I´ve actually also been making more new things here lately as well, which I thought, I would share with you.
Here first is a card, I´ve made out of lots of small leftovers from other creations in the past, that´s been mixed up to this card, so it´s basicly a bit of this and a bit of that, I´ve used for it.

 The front with some diffrent diecuts, I had laying around and some bits and pieces.

 And the back, as it most times looks like

 And from the side, as I used a different fold this time. I´ve always liked to use many different folds for my cards.

 And all opened up and what it looks like inside.
And then as many of you know, I´ve always found it fun to see what I could get out of all kinds of things, that most people just throw out, and here it´s a cheesebox, I´ve decorated to use for a giftbox and decorated both outside and inside. And a funny thing is, that exactly today Becca feeken also used the very same idea on her blog. I thought it was a bit fun, even I ofcause can´t get anything near her standard in making anything LOL, but we seems to got the same idea on the same time LOL:

 And here it is from the side, which I´ve decorated with some ribbon.

 And this is how the books looks like inside, after I added some papers in the bottom and decorated it inside.

 And here´s the bottom and the lid each decorated side by side.

 And this is a box, hubby got a handsfree for his cellphone in the car in. I thought, it looked pretty nice and would look great for a giftbox for something at some time, so I grabbed it and covered it in some nice paper and decorated it for later use.

But I´ve also made some new things, like this card here, again with a different fold, I´m not even sure, what´s called, but here it is all unfolded and as an easelcard in the middle.

 And here´s the easelpart laid down.

 And this is how the back looks like.

 And finally all closed with the band to keep it closed on too.

 And here´s again a recycling project, as this basket is all made of recycled materials except from the paper, but all the rest is only recycled items. I made one almost like this a couple of years ago, and now my sister asked me, if I could make one for her as close as I could, as she hasd a friend, who was just crazy about it back then.

 Here´s how it looks from the ends.

 And here´s how it looks from both sides. These hearts I´ve used here are made of some tiny frames, that I´ve just filled out with glitterglu in a color that would fit.

 And another card. This time for a man and a footballplayer, so ofcause it had to be this old LaPashe sheet, that was used here. It seems the men here likes this one a lot LOL. I admit, I don´t mind to try some others now, as I think, I´ve made the footballer quite a few times now.

 And here´s the back of him in front of the stadium.

 And finally I just made this box here this morning, while the girls were occupied with their own creations.I actually think, it went pretty okay for a small gift.

It´s such a pleasure to be able to just sit down and do some crafting here again, and I have  soooo many things I want to do and sooo many fun ideas working around inside my head, so now I just need the days to ´have at least 48 hours each, so I can find enough time for all I want to create, now I can finally see what I´m actually doing too, so hopefully I can also get a better result now, else I´ll have to find another excuse, if I´ll have to start all over and learn everything again ha ha ha.
